I write. I edit. I travel.

And I’m eager to help others (especially kiddos) explore and learn more about the world through my storytelling.

It all began with a high school trip to Italy. That led to a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain, which translated into a life in Barcelona, Spain and (briefly) Japan.

I’m a graduate of Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism and have covered the arts, education, and science for outlets including PBS NewsHour, Travel + Leisure, and the American Museum of Natural History. Also taught English as a Second Language abroad and in the US too.

During the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I created the digital postcard project, Postcards for Hospitals, to send messages of love and support to patients and healthcare workers.

Finally, I’m a proud and active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and co-founder of several writing groups. Always eager to do what I can to support fellow writers and content creators.
